Sorry it’s been a while – life’s been busy. Anyway, let’s continue.
I’m a woman of simple pleasures: I see Han in the cantina and I switch to him. Also, Leia was shooting at Jar Jar for some reason.

Anyway, let’s get started. This is another vehicle level, so again, not a lot of screenshots.

WOOT, we finally get to fly the Falcon!

Unfortunately, the Falcon, being larger than an X-Wing or snowspeeder, controls a bit bulkier than most of the other ships we’ve flown so far, so it takes some getting used to. Anyway, first of all we’ve gotta take out the Star Destroyers’ guns. Sounds simple, but there are a LOT of TIE Fighters going at you from all directions and occasionally a Star Destroyer will even fly in front of the camera for a few seconds and make it impossible to see what you’re doing. Taking out the guns rewards you with a good amount of studs, but you’ll likely break apart several times before this section is through.
And when it’s through, Han gets his brilliant idea to go into the asteroid field.

I love how the asteroids are rendered – they look like actual rocks. Blasting them apart is also LOADS of fun, even when you’ve also gotta keep track of the TIE Fighters who still want you dead. Most of the asteroids reward you with studs and you can even pick up a minikit, but you also need to blast those rocks apart to get torpedoes, since up ahead is a GIANT ROCK WALL that you can only blow up with torpedoes.

Also, there’s a TIE Fighter gate in this section. Pretty hilarious that the Empire would install one of those in an asteroid field. Anyway, the next section is more frenzy of TIEs and asteroids. Blast those suckers for more studs – you’ll likely reach True Jedi here if you haven’t been blown up too many times. You can get another minikit before reaching another rock wall that can only be destroyed with torpedoes.

Gotta love imagining how Han and Leia must be shouting at each other during all this. “YOU NERFHERDER, YOU’RE FLYING US INTO A ROCK WALL!” “WELL THIS BABY’S GOT SOME MORE SURPRISES, SWEETHEART!”
Blasting through the rock wall will lead us to a small canyon.

You can use torpedoes to blast open the covers on a couple of craters to get two minikits, then fly down into the mysterious giant hole to find yourself in . . .

Yup, we’re in the space slug (and I love how the Falcon turns on its lights upon entering). But don’t worry – it’s well worth risking getting digested for a DOUBLE-SCORE ZONE!

Blast the parts of ships that weren’t as lucky as the Falcon for studs and torpedoes and even a minikit, then fly back up to use those torpedoes to blast apart another rock wall (there sure are a lot of these). In the next area, the TIEs are back and so are the asteroids. There’s a small cave containing a minikit and a lot of shit to blow up, but instead of a rock wall blocking your path, there’s a GIANT-ASS ROTATING ASTEROID!

I broke apart getting that screenshot, so you’re welcome. Anyway, the asteroid has several torpedo targets that you have to carefully aim at as they rotate by. Once you’ve destroyed the giant asteroid, fly on to end the level. Han gets his brilliant idea to land on the side of the Star Destroyer and float off with the trash, unaware that Boba Fett is following them.
The level unlocked the Millennium Falcon, but at the bar we can also buy a TIE Bomber . . .

. . . and an Imperial Shuttle.

See you for the next level!
