Hello and welcome!
Jan. 27th, 2020 01:45 pmHello there, my name is Liesel and I am a Star Wars geek. I'm also known as "EsmeAmelia" and "LieselSolo" at various places around the internet. Star Wars has been a very important part of my life ever since I first saw the movies in 2004. Since then, Star Wars has brought me so much joy (and occasional heartbreak, such as when a certain scoundrel got stabbed through the chest . . .). I've accumulated a massive collection of merchandise, I've gone to the opening night screenings of new SW movies, I've written a ton of SW fanfiction, I've even gone to the Star Wars Weekend at Disney World and met some of the actors.
However, there's ONE area of Star Wars that I haven't experienced a lot, which is Star Wars video games. I love Star Wars and I love video games, so you'd think I'd have played dozens of SW games, but nope. The only SW games I've beaten are the Lego Star Wars games and the Super Star Wars games, and I've only played a handful of others.
Well, now that's going to change. With Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and a remake of Knights of the Old Republic on the way, I think now's a good time to start playing through Star Wars games. I'll be playing through games I haven't played and replaying the games I have played and reviewing them here. Yes, you get to join me in my experiences. Hopefully this will be fun for all of us.
Few notes:
*I have a busy life that includes both my job and going to school (I'm working on getting ESOL certified). I'm also a writer of both original fiction and fanfiction - I published a novel last year and I need to get the sequel out later on this year - so yeah. In short, don't expect an update every day, since Darth Real Life must come first.
*I don't own a PS4 or Xbox One, so don't expect the Star Wars Battlefront reboots in this blog. As for Jedi: Fallen Order, I plan on getting it eventually, but I'll probably need a new computer before I can play it.
*I don't play MMOs, so most likely no MMOs will be in this blog.
*I'll be playing most of the games either via Steam or (for really old games) emulation.
Got it? Good. See you for the first review, where I'll be going waaaaaayyyy back and playing the Atari 2600 Star Wars games.
