Again, I have to apologize for taking so long to update. Honestly, my back injury’s really been getting to me, but we have only three more levels and it looks like The Skywalker Saga will FINALLY be released in spring, so let’s continue our adventure.
It’s time to meet the Ewoks!

After Leia and Luke reunite with the rest of the gang (with an adorable Leia/Han hug), they all get captured by the Ewoks (yeah, they trimmed it down by not having Leia meet Wicket first), but luckily, 3PO the mighty and powerful god saves the day by existing. 3PO tells their story with puppets (not kidding!) and the Ewoks welcome them into the tribe – don’t miss how they tackle Han – HA! But of course, Luke has to leave, ending the cutscene and beginning the level proper.

I love how Endor is rendered with the sunlight and the bugs flying around and the wooden Ewok houses. I know I’ve said this before, but this game’s graphics have aged surprisingly well – likely because they weren’t going for hyper-realism and instead wanted to capture the feeling of a galaxy far, far away with plastic toys as the characters. You’ll also notice a lot of Ewoks wandering around – technically you can shoot them for hearts, but you’ll feel awful if you do so, unless you’re one of those weirdos who still thinks killing Ewoks is cool even though that got old twenty years ago.
Anyway, you’ll see a minikit up in the trees. To get it, build one of those circular lever things and push it to bring up an elevator on a pully, then have R2 fly to the elevator and grab the minikit.

You can also build . . . the spit where Han was going to be roasted. And fittingly enough, it’s infested with dark side energy, so you can’t do anything with it yet, but HA!

Well, the bridge is out, but fortunately we’ve got Wicket (and I love how Wicket kind of skips around when he walks – SO CUTE!) with us and he can crawl through the conveniently-placed small passage to build the bridge controls.

I guess the Ewoks built these passages to keep strangers out – that would actually make sense (don't bother trying to get the boarded-up minikit, though - for some reason Han's blaster can't blast through wood). And of course, soon we run into another dead-end, but we can build an ascension gun platform and swing up to a lever to bring up another bridge. Yup, the Ewoks definitely don’t want strangers around, but since we’re part of the tribe now, that’s no problem.
Also, for some reason I love this spiral ramp. Don’t ask me why, but I do.

But, uh-oh, at the bottom of the ramp we have stormtroopers greeting us. They’ll keep coming and coming and coming until you shoot all four of the hooks they’re using to get up to the trees – and afterwards you’ll realize you’re at another dead end.

Fortunately, you can build a . . . thing and push it under a hook, then have Wicket go through the passage to get up into the tree and pull a lever that makes the hook pick up the . . . thing.

After that, Wicket can push the thing into another thing and hurray, the bridge is up . . . well not really.

Good thing we have enough people in our party to step on all the targets, huh? For being technologically simple, the Ewoks sure are wizards at keeping people out. Anyway, step on all the targets and the platform will take you to the ground, where, of course, you’ll be greeted by stormtroopers.

After you take care of the stormtroopers, you can build an ascension gun platform to get a minikit and DEAR GOD this is gorgeous. The sun patterns on the ground, the way the grass moves when you run through it, I love it. Anyway, build a circular lever to raise a platform for Wicket to use a passage to get to the top of a tree and step on a switch so Han can use his ascension gun and pull a lever (this stuff sounds much more complicated when I type it than it does when you actually do it) and if you look at the stormtroopers in the background, you’ll notice them wave occasionally. I wasn’t able to get a screenshot of them waving, but it’s cute.

Of course, once you get through the area, those stormtroopers who were waving will try to kill you. Take them out and . . . OOH, PRETTY RIVER AND WATERFALL!

Seriously, that’s beautiful. Unfortunately, we can’t get the minikit behind the waterfall even though it looks like we should be able to, so let’s cross the river to the next area. In addition to shooting everything for studs, using the ascension gun to get a minikit, and killing stormtroopers, we can also build a tractor.

You never knew you needed to see Han Solo driving a tractor, but there it is! Now let’s drive the tractor over those baby carrots to make them grow.

And now let’s shoot the Ewok food supply for studs. HA! Anyway, when you’re done playing around, you can build a terminal 3PO can use to bring down the first set of gates, then step on the targets to bring down the second gate.

By the way, don't bother trying to get this minikit in Story Mode. It LOOKS like you can just climb up the hill and get it, but you'll start tumbling down before you reach the top.

And uh-oh, another giant gate . . . with a conveniently placed catapult right in front of it.

So yeah, jump in the catapult and launch some rocks at the gate until it collapses – but of course you’ll have to deal with stormtroopers and a freakin’ AT-ST walker! But no worries, you can highjack the walker and become a destructive badass!

Use the walker to shoot down the gate to the open area in front of the shield generator. We’re almost there . . . but of course we’ve got to contend with MORE AT-ST walkers. Time for a walker battle!

After you’ve taken everyone and everything down, there’s a lot to play with – unfortunately, you need the Force to play with a lot of it. You can shoot tons of plants for studs, though.
Also, when I was using the AT-ST to shoot down a gate to reach this platform, 3PO ended up under the walker and started kicking his legs in the air. Pretty funny.

After stepping on switches and swinging around on ascension guns, you’ll find yourself on top of the shield generator. Yes, really.

Shoot the explosives, use the debris to build a path, push the big box down the path and off the roof, then use THAT debris to build a terminal that R2 can use to open up the generator door. Phew, but we’re not done yet. We’ve still got to destroy the thing.
Okay, we’re in. First thing’s first – let’s shoot the terminals for studs.

Sure, the fleet is counting on us, but we want to reach True Jedi, don’t we? Once we’ve gathered up the cash, we can shoot the door open.

But alas, it can’t be as simple as dropping chargers and leaving, since we’ve got a forcefield to deal with.

We’ve got to get rid of it somehow. Pulling a lever blows up one of the forcefield generators, but there are still three more. Maybe there will be answers in the two rooms on either side of the main room.

Here’s the room to the left. Shoot all the shit you can, of course, and if you step on a certain switch, you can even go under the floor.
Ah, it’s so easy to get distracted in this game, but when you’re done playing around, have R2 activate a panel to get the elevator working, ride up the elevator, have 3PO activate another panel, and finally pull a second lever.

Two down, two to go. Have R2 ride the elevator up and fly across the room to activate a panel that opens a chute. Now you can have Wicket use the chute to get into the little room with the lever, take care of the stormtroopers with his trusty slingshot (yes, stormtrooper armor is so flimsy that even a SLINGSHOT can penetrate it), and pull the lever to get rid of one of the forcefield’s barriers (but no, he can’t jump far enough to get the tantalizing minikit).

One lever to go, so let’s head to the last room.

You can see the Power Brick in the distance, but as you might have figured, we can’t get to it yet. Instead, let’s shoot stuff and pull some levers to make a ramp.

Now 3PO can go up the ramp to activate a panel which reveals the final lever. Pull it and head back to the middle room, where you can now pull two more levers to get rid of the forcefield.
Is that enough levers? Well, of course you’re gonna get ambushed by stormtroopers, but once you take care of them, head into the generator area, build some chargers, and BOOM! Enjoy the cutscene (especially how the sensor dish lands on Han – HA!).
Well, we’ve unlocked Han in Endor garb and Wicket, and at the bar we can buy a generic Ewok.

Only two more levels to go!
